September 27, 2009 Meeting notes

At a short meeting Sunday Sept. 27, 2009 we discussed the need to replenish our savings after the expenses (paid and yet to be paid) for refurbishing the outside of the church.

We pretty much agreed that hosting a scaled down version of the popular Haunted Forest would be a good fund raiser. Cathy S. will be chairperson. Time is short and we are in need of participation. Cathy is looking for sub-chairs to be in charge of certain areas of the planning.

Come to the planning meeting this Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 6:30 at the church. Bring any ideas to share. As it’s a work day for many, come even if you can only stop in for a minute.

Also remember: There will be no Mass at Our Lady of Refuge on Sunday, October 4. This is the annual Fall Festival and anniversary for Our Lady of the Pillar and we are invited to go to Mass there as well as participate in the Fall Festival events.
