Ash Wednesday
There will be a Communion Service and Ashes at 7:00 PM at Our Lady of Refuge on Wednesday, February 17, the beginning of Lent.

St. Patrick’s Day Potluck and Bingo
On hold! To be announced! Due to a conflict in scheduling it will not be held on the date previously listed. Please be thinking about items to donate for prizes and what you want to bring as a food item for the potluck. A sign-up sheet will be available, as usual.

Stations of the Cross
Deacon John is not available for Stations of the Cross on Friday evenings during Lent. It has been suggested that we do Stations on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. What would work best for you? Please bring your suggestions to Mass next week or let Deacon John know.

Soup for Lent
We are serving soup after Mass on Sundays during Lent (instead of sweets). We also need people to sign up to bring bread to go with the soup. If you can help, please sign up on the calendar inside the church door. We still need soup and bread for Sunday March 28 and bread for many of the other Sundays. If you don’t feel up to making soup for 30 people, ask one of the others who have already signed up if you can help by bringing a smaller amount. We are trying to have at least one vegetarian selection, so two cooks can be a big help!

Church Clean-up
Do you have time during the week to help with cleaning and light maintenance of the church? We are trying to get together a group to do just that. Our first get-together will be Thursday, February 18 at 1:00 PM at the church. If you have an hour or two, please come by. If several of us do a little bit each time on a regular basis, we can keep the church looking nice without a lot of effort. And it will be fun, too.
